Mentor and apprentice · since 2025

Shogird Uz:a platform that bridges the youth with businesses

We connect school and university students with leading entrepreneurs in business, IT, finance and media. Each season has one mentor, whose apprentices we choose through an open call, a selection and interviews.

The apprentice then works with the mentor directly: meetings, trainings and real projects. The aim: a clear path to a future career, a strong network and real experience for a portfolio.

Application process to Shogird Uz

Every season runs in four steps, from finding the mentor to working at their side.

  1. 1

    Connecting with a business owner

We find an entrepreneur or expert with real experience and results, tell them about the project and invite them to take apprentices.

With the mentor we agree the format: how many apprentices, which field, how long and what requirements.

    Announcing the programme

On our Telegram channel we introduce the mentor: how the programme runs, the requirements and the selection criteria.

Applications stay open for about a month, through a form or our bot.

  3. 3

    Selection

The team reads every application and invites the strongest to interview; sometimes the mentor joins the interviews.

At the end up to 12 apprentices are accepted; each season's number depends on the mentor.

    The programme

For one to two months the apprentice follows their business mentor: meetings, training sessions and field work.

They work on real projects and see the mentor's decisions and way of working from the inside.

What you do in the programme

The mentor shares their experience; the apprentice learns in three ways.

  • Webinar with Eldor Khamraev

    Meetings and seminars

The mentor talks about their path, decisions and mistakes, and answers questions.

  • Training sessions

The skills you need are practised hands-on: analysis, sales, design, personal brand.

  • Season 2, with Hasan Mamasaidov

    Working side by side

The apprentice goes along with the mentor and works on their real projects.
